Ashanti has spent the last 12 years working in retail. Most recently working for Old Navy’s leading flagship store in Herald Square, New York City as their Senior Business and Operations Manager. In her previous role, she helped to spearhead training and development of associates in multiple areas: Omni Channel Training and brand loyalty and engagement training. This created positive increases in brand associate productivity, and a more seamless execution of company defined standard operating procedures. Through these training initiatives, Ashanti helped her team to solidify a leading spot in market ranking. Working in retail has helped Ashanti to cultivate, both customer experience and operational skills that can be invaluable to ensuring a seamless customer or client experience from start to finish.
Ashanti has a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from The City College of New York, and in her spare time enjoys photography, street art and The New York Mets. Ashanti is also a brand new cat mom to her adorable purritos, Venus and Serena.
