Kaven is a Partner and Director at Pacific Project Management and is responsible for supporting business growth and relationships with existing and new clients. She brings 20 years of comprehensive experience in the commercial construction and real estate industry. This includes developing accounts, processes and leading large teams of project managers delivering projects for owner-occupiers of large real-estate portfolios. Kaven has managed complicated multiphase and occupied projects simultaneously including tenant improvement and ground up projects within the office, healthcare and bio-tech industries. She has worked on projects and with teams located in Africa, Europe and North America. Several of these included added layers of complexity due to grant funding which involved strategic partnership and negotiation between governments and international organizations. She also has both landlord and tenant representation experience for several million square feet of commercial office space within the Puget Sound area including pre-transaction broker support to develop project requirements and site assessments ensuring successful project evaluation so clients can clearly understand costs and timing constraints.
Kaven adds value by leading clients and end users in defining project requirements and establishing project work plans and deadlines. Clients and teams appreciate Kaven’s clear direction and leadership ensuring collaboration between the tenants, asset managers, leasing agents, facility engineers, designers, and contractors to effectively deliver space that meets the tenant and landlord objectives. Her skills in soliciting, qualifying and leading the contract negotiations for the project designers, vendors, consultants and contractors also add tremendous value to projects.
In her spare time, Kaven enjoys gardening, running, sailing and spending time with her family and dogs. She volunteers at various non-profit organizations in the Seattle area, and serves on several committees for CRE industry organizations.
