Joe brings more than 25 years of senior management experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, operations, and energy management in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Food/Beverage industries. Joe has demonstrated his commitment to continuous process improvement and technical excellence by addressing key challenges associated with product manufacturing, facility operations, and regulatory compliance. Joe has managed all aspects of capital management projects for over $200MM in facilities upgrades. In addition, has applied his risk management and quality control experience to develop strategies and execution plans for several Fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, Joe has created and implemented numerous results-oriented programs for operational excellence in all facets of engineering, construction, and facility management. Joe is also a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served with distinction, earning numerous commendations, for ten years.
Joe is an experienced speaker at association and tradeshow conferences, such as the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE). Joe also taught under-graduate courses in Management and Statistics for the University of Phoenix; and undergraduate courses in Supervision and Facilities Design for Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
A native of California, Joe attended the University of California, Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering and Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Industrial Engineering. Joe also has an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
In his free time, Joe enjoys hunting and fly fishing on his ranch in Shasta CA.
