Jacob joins the PPM team as a launch Project Manager with an international retail client after serving as an engineering officer in the U.S. Army. Leveraging over 8 years of project management experience, Jacob brings a passion for servant leadership and empowering teams to overcome any challenge. His experiences driving projects across multiple industries has shaped him into a resourceful and dependable leader, skilled at delivering high-quality results while facing tight deadlines and limited resources. A lifelong learner, he holds a BS in physics from Pacific Lutheran University and an MBA with a concentration in project management from the University of Mary.

Jacob began his career in residential construction, and after receiving his commission into the Army, led a team of 35 engineers from the US to South Korea. Bringing a focus on concise communication and shaping client needs into actionable solutions, he is comfortable holding high levels of responsibility after spearheading more than 10 cross-national integration projects involving 1,000+ personnel and key leadership from the US and foreign nations. In his previous role as a project manager for an Army medical department, Jacob developed systems, oversaw space reallocation, and led change management projects to drive 300% growth in the organization within a 3 month period.

In addition to project management, Jacob has worked in operations management, strategic development, and organizational transformation. Making use of his engineering background, an MBA, and wide range of experience, Jacob’s adaptability and high-level understanding makes him a valuable resource for the clients he serves. Clients appreciate Jacob’s focus on stakeholder management, clear communication, and detailed risk mitigation, which allows them to step back and focus on the big picture.

Jacob loves travelling, cooking for friends, and learning from master chefs, most recently with Gaggan Anand (Bangkok) and Jeong Kwan (Seoul), who were each featured in the Netflix special Chef’s Table. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, running so he can eat more good food, and building audiophile speakers.
