Carol Martinez joined PPM as a Project Coordinator on our Moves Team. She came to us from Hines, as an Accounts Payable Administrator and a Food Program Coordinator, where she managed multiple projects and three campus café vendors. Carol successfully managed vendor financials and developed the necessary policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient processes for her team.
A few of Carol’s top skills are her ability to problem solve, be adaptable, communicate, and develop client relations. Her problem-solving abilities aid her in the role of Project Coordinator greatly because she welcomes a challenge. Figuring out problems in the most efficient and logical manner gives Carol satisfaction. The communication and client relation skills that Carol displays are traits that she is quite proud of. Carol is passionate about people; their community, solving their problems, and acknowledging their ideas.
Her current role continuously has her discovering new information and meeting new people. Her scope includes managing small scale moves, full floor, and multi-level resets on various campuses. Carol’s goal is to offer the client an excellent move experience while maintaining the highest level of integrity. The PPM company value she holds most dear is integrity. With integrity, all other values will fall into place. Carol believes that if an individual is motivated to do their best, whether in the sight of others or alone, they will always exceed expectations.
Some unique personal facts about Carol are that she loves to sing, is learning American Sign Language, and is in the process of signing up for project management courses at the University of Washington to further her project management career. Some of her favorite artists to sing are Janis Joplin, Bette Midler, and Florence Welch.
