California State Auto Association: Brand Conversion – California Nevada, Utah
We provided project management services of all phases for re-branding of over 100 CSAA locations in California and Nevada. AAA Corporate mandated All State run AAA clubs would have to rebrand under one common logo. We were tasked with redesigning the proto type signage due to budget overruns and complete the sign program in less than six months.
We reduced the budget by standardizing on three sign types per store, limiting illuminated signs, using LED low voltage to cut electrical cost, and use bulk purchase program to drive competitive price. Teams were sent out to start the permitting process while manufacturing of the sign was underway to expedite the schedule. Local sub contracting teams were bid and in place with permits ready to install as soon as the signs were delivered.
The project came in under budget and three months ahead of schedule. Approximately $1,000,000 was cut from the original budget because of cost cutting measures and expediting manufacturing and installation.
